In autumn 2020, Hubert Baumgartner welcomed visitors for the first time to his seminar center in Inzersdorf, located in the scenic Kremstal region of Upper Austria—a space that unveils a universe primarily crafted from reclaimed wood.

However, referring to reclaimed wood in the singular doesn’t do justice to the variety found here; instead, it’s more fitting to speak of reclaimed woods in the plural. The seminar buildings, constructed in various sizes with individually designed seminar rooms, stand as a masterful demonstration of the diverse design possibilities offered by aged wood. Every surface and area of the expansive ensemble presents a distinct design variation, often harmoniously combined with modern materials. The result is a truly unique atmosphere—one that cannot be found anywhere else.
