Twisted in on itself, it resembles a wing resting on a pedestal: The private villa, which offers a view of the UNESCO World Heritage site Graz thanks to its hillside location. The basement acts as the pedestal, clad in wooden slats and housing not only the garage and other spaces but also the guest apartment, including the sauna. Above it, the two upper floors float, entirely in white.

The main living level in the middle is seamlessly connected to the terrace and pool; the flowing spaces can be divided with sliding doors and rotating walls. At the very top is the private area, with fully glazed bedrooms facing south and towards the city. We’ve provided the household with an exceptionally beautiful floor: three-layer planks made from hand-picked European oak, delivered pre-oiled and ready for living.

Spacious, expansive, and floating: The Graz villa designed by architect Marion Wicher, featuring Mareiner wood on the floor, as part of the interior design, and also as the building’s facade.
